Telangana: As many as 11 people have been feared dead after a fire broke out in a scrap shop in Bhoiguda of Hyderabad in Telangana.
Out of 12 people in the godown, one person survived.
The DRF reached the spot to douse the fire. A short circuit could be the reason for the fire. We are investigating the matter said Mohan Rao, Gandhi Nagar SHO to ANI.
The fire accident took place in the morning around 4 am. A team of firefighters arrived immediately and doused the fire.
As many as 11 people have died and one had escaped safely from the premises.
Details will be given after conducting detailed investigation into the matter added, L Sharman the Hyderabad District Collector.
It is noteworthy that, the Telangana CM has announced Rs 5 lakh ex-gratia for those killed in Hyderabad fire tragedy.
