Southern Hottie Dulquer Salmaan, who plays the male lead in the film, also took to Instagram to share the poster. He wrote- “Pad up for a new innings 😉 Catch #TheZoyaFactor in cinemas on 20th September, 2019. Along with @sonamkapoor , and directed by #AbhishekSharma @foxstarhindi.”
Based on Anuja Chauhan’s novel of the same name, The Zoya Factor revolves around Zoya Singh Solanki, an advertising executive who meets the Indian Cricket Team through her job and ends up becoming a lucky charm for the team at the Cricket World Cup. Dulquer Salman is playing the captain of the Indian Cricket team in the movie.
As the film is based on cricket, the team earlier decided to release it in between the world cup. However, thinking about the box-office business and some post-production delays, ‘The Zoya Factor’ has now been pushed to a September 20 release.
Directed by Abhisekh Kapoor of ‘Tere Bin Laden’ fame, ‘The Zoya Factor’ also stars Angad Bedi and Sikandar Kher in key roles. It also marks the first-ever collaboration of Sonam with her uncle Sanjay Kapoor, who is playing her father in the film.
