Salman Khan begins shooting for ‘Sikandar’ amid fresh death threats with 4-layer security cover
Hyderabad: Bollywood actor Salman Khan has started shooting of his upcoming film, Sikandar in Hyderabad despite facing fresh security threats. As a precautionary measure the makers have evolved a four-tier security system for the actor.
According to a report in Mid-Day, most part of the hotel section is sealed and approached only by the team from the film. The guests are being screened twice, once by the hotel and then by Salman’s security personnel, after which they enter into the secured zone. Their staff is checked every day, with no scope for role reversal. These precautions are part of heightened security measures during the shoot.
Salman Khan’s security detail has authorized government protection involving NSG commandos and police personnel from both Hyderabad and Mumbai. His security setup features a four-tiered system with private ex-paramilitary personnel, a team handpicked by his bodyguard Shera, and coverage from local police.
The shoot takes place with 50 to 70 security personnel accompanying the actor. Salman has been put under a complete security blanket after he allegedly received a new threat message claiming to have come from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang late on Thursday night. The warning, issued to a songwriter over his controversial track that happens to link Salman to the jailed gangster, makes the on-screen personality an added worry for security.
Authorities are investigating the case presently. After he completes his shooting in Hyderabad, Salman will head to Dubai for his Da-Bangg Reloaded show. He is presently filming songs with Rashmika Mandanna in Sikandar.
The heightened security that’s been working there is just one of the measures taken for it as Salman’s shoot is happening there. The whole hotel seals off when film shooting is taking place at one place and no one is allowed to enter, as a matter of fact.
