RRR Hindi fastest film to enter 100 cr club, Pushes back The Kashmir Files, Gangubai Kathiwadi

Director S.S. Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan has become India’s biggest blockbuster in just a few days of its release. The flim has smashed several box office records on day 1 itself. Beating the record of Baahubali 2 as the biggest opener ever in the history of Indian cinema both in India and worldwide, Rajamouli is competing with himself.

The film is not only doing well in the South, but has been beating records in the Hindi cinema category as well. In just five days of its release, the film has earned more than 100 crores at the box office. With this it has entered the 100 crore club beating the recent Bollywood movies– The Kashmir Files and Gangubai Kathiawadi. Both the films entered the 100 crore clubs in 13 days.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to his Twitter handle to inform the same. He wrote, “#RRR Hindi Crosses ₹ 100 Cr Nett at the All-India Box office. In 5 days..”

Apart from him, trade expert Taran Adarsh also tweeted, “#RRR #Hindi RRRoars and scores on the crucial make-or-break Mon… BIGGEST Day 4 [post pandemic]… FANTASTIC HOLD everywhere, especially in mass circuits… Will cross 100 cr today [Tue; Day 5]… Fri 19 cr, Sat 24 cr, Sun 31.50 cr, Mon 17 cr. Total: 91.50 cr. #India biz”

Fans and show-biz industry has been lauding the makers and actors of RRR for its huge success. Bollywood star Salman Khan recently reacted to the astounding business of RRR. Reportedly, he said that it had been a wonderful experience working with Chiranjeevi. They have known each other for a long time and had been friends ever since. While praising Ram Charan’s fantastic job in RRR, Salman said that Chiranjeevi’s son is also a friend to him. The ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ actor wished Ram on his birthday and for the success of his film. He told him that he is proud of him.

He then jokingly added to his statement that he wonders why their films are not doing so well in the South while the south actor’s movies are doing so well here.
