Odisha State Film Awards-2019 declared; Here is the list

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government announced the 29th State Film Awards on Tuesday. Veteran film editor Rabi Pattnaik will get the prestigious ‘Jayadev Puraskar’ for his lifetime contribution to Ollywood.

Expressing his gratitude to the state government for selecting him for the highest film award of the state Pattnaik said, “I will give my first gratitude to the state government and the jury members. Though it is late, I am very happy that they thought about me.”

“I never thought I would get it. However, it’s been a long time since I have been doing my work,” he added.

Advising the people involved in the film industry, Pattnaik said, “It would be better for the industry if everyone maintains the originality.”

He further said that there are several films that I have done. However, Abhimaan, Suna Chadhei and Chini are some of my favourite works.

Best Actor-Partha Sarathi Ray for Hello Arsi

Best Actress- Sunmeera Nagesh for Laila O Laila

Best Director- Sambit Mohanty for ‘Hello Aarsi’

Best Dialogue Writer – Sambit Mohanty for ‘Hello Aarsi’

Best Music Director– Baidyanath Das  for ‘Hello Aarsi’

Best Lyricist – Arun Mantri for Tu Mo love Story

Best Story Writer – Jitendra Nath Mohapatra for the film Drustanta

Best Playback Singer (Male) –Satyajit Pradhan (Biti Jaichi Kete Dina Film: Sapanara Pathe Pathe)

Best Playback Singer (Female) –  Asima Panda for the title song of the movie Mu Khanti Odia Jhia

Mohan Sundar Dev Goswami Samman (in the Best Film category) – Ajay Routray (producer of ‘Hello Aarsi’)

Best Story Writer -Jitendra Nath Mohapatra for the film Drustanta

Best Costume Man– Arun Patra (Just Mohabbat)

Best Make-up Man– Manas Behera (Jagannath Dham Puri)

Special Jury Award – Pradyumna Lenka (Shiva Not Out)

Best Supporting Actor (Male)– Manoj Pattanayak (Mu Khanti Odia Jhia)

Best Supporting Actor (Female)– Mamuni Mishra (Mu Khanti Odia Jhia)

Best Comedian– Tribhuban Panda (Hero No. 1)

Best Child Artist– Maguni Patra as ‘Babloo’ (Sapana tie…)

Best Sound Recordist– Subas Sahoo (Hello Arsi)

Best Photographer– Dhrubananda Panda (Shiva Not Out)

Best Screenplay– Debidutta Mhanty (Tu Mo Love Story)

Best Choreographer– M.K. Muralidharan (Just Mohabbat)

Best Editing– Martya Bhattacharya (Khyanika)

Best Art Director– Subas Behera (Tu Mo Love Story)

The 6th Tele-Serial Award was also announced today and the winners are:

Best Jury Award: Paika Bidroha of Kalinga TV

Best Dialogue  Award: Satish Mishra for the “Capital Khati” telecasted in Kalinga TV

Best Tele-Serial:  Nua Bohu

Best Actor- Jagjit Pal

Best Supporting Actor (in negative role): Mrutyunjay Kar

Best Actress- Mitali Sargharia

Best Story Writer:  Sonali Srivastav
