Janhvi Kapoor To Play First Woman IAF Pilot Gunjan Saxena In Her Next?
Mumbai: After a blockbuster debut in Shashank Khaitaan’s ‘Dhadak’, Janhvi Kapoor is on a roll. As per latest reports, Janhvi Kapoor has reportedly been roped in by Dharma Productions to play IAF Pilot Gunjan Saxena, who was the first woman to fly a chopper. Gunjan had evacuated injured soldiers from Kargil in 1999 along with fellow lieutenant Srividya Rajan. The duo faced enemy fire and risked their own lives to bring the soldiers home.
Last year, it was reported that Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is planning to make a film on the life of Gunjan Saxena. Now with talks of Janhvi being onboard, it seems the project is finally set to hit the floors. While not much is known about the project at present, Janhvi was seen spending time with Gunjan Saxena.
