Collections of RRR cross 500 cr, Director urged to add english subtitles
Director S.S. Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan has become India’s biggest blockbuster in just a few days of its release. The flim has smashed several box office records on day 1 itself. Beating the record of Baahubali 2 as the biggest opener ever in the history of Indian cinema both in India and worldwide, Rajamouli is competing with himself.
Cinema halls are flooded with fans and the movie is garnering overwhelming response from both, audience and the critics.
As per the sources, the makers of RRR has received multiple requests from exhibitors from across the board, who are playing South versions of RRR including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, to add English subtitles to the movie. The request also suggests to add the subtitles at least to the parts where the non-Indian actors recite English dialogues. Apparently the opinion has come from the audiences who are having a tough time comprehending the dialogues.
Reportedly, the director and the producers of RRR are considering the request and working on it.
Meanwhile, the superhit movie of the year so far RRR that also features Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in an extended cameo, had earned an whopping amount of Rs. 228.50 crore gross on its opening day. The movie has garnered more than 500 crore at global box office in just four days, debuting as no. 1 worldwide for the weekend. Considering the high level of anticipation for the movie by audience, RRR is seems to be on its way to be a monstrous blockbuster in all regions.
