Mumbai: Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt has recently shared the first poster of her upcoming film Jigra, co-starring actor Vedang Raina, who made his Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.
The caption of the poster read, “Tu mere protection mein hai” (You are in my protection), implying that Alia Bhatt would be seen playing a protective elder sister in the Vasan Bala directorial.

It is slated for release on October 11, the movie is directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma productions in collaboration with Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions.
It marks Alia and Vasan’s first on-screen collaboration. Earlier this month, the makers of Jigraannounced the new release date of the film. The film was earlier supposed to be released on September 27, 2024, but now audiences can watch it in cinema halls from October 11 onwards.
On the work front, , Alia Bhatt will be seen next in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film after Jigra starring Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt.
