According to reports, a magistrate court relied on evidence from a doctor who examined the doctor. The doctor’s examination revealed that Dalip Tahil showed signs of alcohol consumption, such as the smell of alcohol, unsteady walking, dilated pupils, and incoherent speech.

The incident took place in 2018 in Mumbai’s Khar area, where the 65-year-old actor was under the influence of alcohol when he crashed his car into an autorickshaw, causing injuries to a woman.

After the accident, the actor attempted to flee but was hindered by a traffic jam created by Ganesh Visarjan processions. Passengers from the autorickshaw caught up with Dalip’s car, leading to an altercation. The police were subsequently summoned, and the actor was taken into custody.
