Odisha CM Naveen attends Niti Aayog’s council meet

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is attending the third meeting of Niti Aayog’s Governing Council at the Cultural Centre near Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Sunday.

Apart from Patnaik, many Union Ministers, Chief Ministers of other states, full-time members of the planning body, former officio members and special invitees are taking part in the meeting being held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Odisha Chief Minister is likely to reiterate the special category status for the state during the meeting. Besides, he is expected to meet many Union Ministers and discuss on different issues pertaining to the state.

Vice Chairman of the apex planning body of the country Arvind Panagaria has prepared a 15-year vision document for accelerating the growth of the nation. Besides, he will also make a presentation on a strategy document for the next seven years and also prepare an action plan for three years.
