Naveen’s Mantra to Collectors: Act as Agents of Change

Naveen Patnaik at Collectors' WorkshopBhubaneswar: Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik while inaugurating the three-day Workshop of District Collectors in Odisha, asked them to act as the agents of change for the betterment of public service delivery mechanism of the government using 3Ts – Technology, Transparency and Teamwork.

The CM formed 5 different group of Collectors at the Workshop to deliberate on 10 initiatives and find better ways for their implementation at the grassroots level with innovative solutions.

These 10 areas include – Rural Housing, Water Supply, Paddy Procurement, Schemes & Services relating to Farmers, Facilities for Students, Municipal Services, Youth & Skill Development, Implementation of Forest Rights Act & Welfare Schemes for Construction Workers, Public Service Delivery under the Odisha Right to Public Services Act and Improvement of Government Hospitals & Healthcare Services.

The CM also launched a web portal at http://ortpsa.in/3torient/ , which will receive public feedback on 10 issues.

“My Government is people’s Govt. You need to work for the people. I will review performance of all Collectors regarding improvement in public service delivery through the use of 3Ts, on a regular basis”, said CM Naveen Patnaik.

“People come to different Goverment offices with faith and belief in our delivery mechanism. I will expect all of you to try your level best to vindicate this faith of the people and never let their belief in you to be destroyed or diminished”, he added.
