Bhubaneswar: Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik has felicitated Odia boy Nipun Chandra, who topped the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) – 2017 MBBS entrance examination recently.
Nipun, a student of of DAV Public School, became national topper with 99.9% marks in the exam. The successful students are eligible to take admission in JIPMER’s campuses at Puducherri and Karaikal as well as other reputed medical colleges of India.
Nipun, who has qualified in the National Talent Search Examination and Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) scholarships, has scored 95% marks in CBSE Class XII examination this year.
