Sundergarh: Three youths were charred to death when the car in which they were traveling caught fire after colliding with a tree at Sukhajor under Lephripara police limits in Sundergarh district late on Tuesday night.
The deceased have been identified as Biswajit Kar, Rahul Pasayat and Loknath Garadia.
As per reports, the speeding car (OR 16D.1610) lost control and crashed into a roadside tree while going towards MCL from Sundergarh. Its engine caught fire and suddenly engulfed the whole vehicle. The trio could not get out of the vehicle and were charred to death inside their vehicle.
Police have reached the spot and started an investigation.
