West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has issued the detailed notification for the recruitment of the post of Wireless Supervisor (Technical) Grade – II and Wireless Operator in West Bengal Police Telecommunications and for the post of Agragami in West Bengal Civil Emergency Force (WBCEF)] and Agragami in the Water Wing Civil Defence (WWCD) and for WBNVF Agragami in West Bengal Civil Defence Organisation under the Department of Disaster Management & Civil Defence, West Bengal.
Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the recruitment process through online mode on the official website i.e. wbpolice.gov.in from 22 February to 22 March 2021.
It is to be noted, only trained male WBNVF volunteers and Ex-servicemen. Female applicants are not eligible to apply for the post of WBNVF Agragami.
A total of 2263 vacancies notified out of which 1251 are for the post of Wireless Operator, 84 for Wireless Supervisor, 169 for Agragami WBCEF, 117 for Agragami WWCD and 652 for Agragami WBNVF Posts.

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Wireless Operator – The candidate should have passed the 12th exam in Science with Physics and Mathematics from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) or equivalent examination from any of the recognized Boards.
Wireless Supervisor (Technical) – The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Physics or Radio Physics or Electronics and Telecommunications / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science /Information Technology from any recognized University.
Agragami (WBCEF)] and (WWCD) – The candidate should have passed the Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent. Along with this, the applicant should be a Civil Defence volunteers and must have completed the Civil Defence foundation training under the Civil Defence Organization.
WBNVF Agragami – The applicant must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent. Only male candidates who are from the West Bengal National Volunteers Force (WBNVF) and Ex-Servicemen are eligible to apply for the posts.

Selection Process:
Wireless Operator and Wireless Supervisor Posts:
The selection process for Wireless Operator and Wireless Supervisor posts will be done in five phases:
- Preliminary Examination (Full Marks – 100)
- PMT (Physical Measurement Test)
- PET (Physical Efficiency Test)
- Final Exam
- Personality interview
Agragami Posts:
The selection process for Agragami will be done in three phases:
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Written Examination (Full Marks – 85)
- Personal interview
