Watch: People Loot Mats After Yoga Day Event In Haryana
Rohtak: In a bizzare incident, people looted mats after a yoga day event in Haryana’s Rohtak on Friday. In a video that has gone viral, people can be seen looting yoga mats from each other as organizing officials try to prevent them from doing so.
People fought with each other to get their hands on yoga mats at the venue. They looted the yoga mats from the venue where Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Haryana Chief Minister ML Khattar had participated in the programme for International Day of Yoga earlier on Friday.
In a video, it can be seen how people are bickering and fighting over yoga mats as yoga music, meant for peace of mind and soul, played in the background.

Prior to the incident, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the ancient Indian practice of Yoga has become an ambassador of the country’s culture around the globe.
He also congratulated the Manohar Lal Khattar government for setting up a Yoga Council in Haryana.
Besides Shah and Khattar, Haryana ministers Anil Vij, Manish Grover, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Anil Jain, BJP MP from Rohtak, Arvind Sharma and state BJP chief Subhash Barala had also attended the event.
