Wayanad: Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi was kissed on the cheek by a man here today, while he was visiting his flood-hit constituency.
A video of the incident shows Rahul, dressed in a grey T-shirt, sitting in the passenger seat of his car and greeting people out of the car window.
A few seconds later, a man in a blue shirt is seen shaking hands with Rahul Gandhi before lunging in, hugging Rahul and planting a kiss on his cheek.

The man is then seen being pulled away by a person who is out of the video’s frame. Meanwhile, a nonchalant Rahul Gandhi continues greeting and shaking hands with the people around his car.
Rahul was visiting Wayanad to monitor flood relief work in his constituency. He visited flood relief camps and reviewed rehabilitation work in the region.
Noteworthy, this is not the first time that the 49-year-old leader has been showered with public affection. Earlier this year, he was kissed on the cheek by a woman at Valsad in Gujarat, where he was campaigning for the Lok Sabha polls.
