New Delhi: KR Nandini from Karnataka emerged the topper while Anmol Sher Singh Bedi and Gopalkrishna Ronanki got 2nd and 3rd ranks respectively in the Civil Services Exam, 2016. Altogether 1,099 candidates cleared the examination.
Suman Sourav Mohanty from Odisha got the 9th rank. He had earlier cracked the IRS Exam with 413rd rank in 2015. “It’s the blessing of over 4 crore Odias that worked in my favour,” he said.
Suman, a KIIT Alumni of 2008 batch, has given full credit to the University for his growth. KIIT & KISS Founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta has congratulated Suman Sourav Mohanty on his achievement.
Senior IAS Officer Arun Panda’s son Abhishyant Panda secured 91st rank. Two other Odias – Subhankar Mohapatra and Suchismita Kanungo got 255th and 261 ranks respectively. A few more Odias have also reportedly cracked the UPSC 2016 exams. Further details are awaited.
