International Mathematics Olympiad (SOF IMO) shall be conducting for classes 1-12 students studying in various schools of India.
The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) conducts the International Mathematics Olympiad (SOF IMO) for classes 1-12 students studying in various schools of India.
Details about the SOF IMO exam is as follows: It is organized by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF). The eligibility is classes 1 – 12 students of schools recognized by the SOF. The difficulty level of the exam is of Intermediate. The application fees in Rs. 125. The applications are to be submitted by the schools concerned.
SOF conducts the exam once a year. The language of the test is English only. The duration is just one hour. Questions shall range from algebra, trigonometry, geometry, linear equations, differential equations, limits and derivatives, integers, to probability.
High scorers of SOF exams are eligible for awards and scholarships. The top three international rank holders get cash awards, medals, and certificates. On the other hand zonal and school-level winners are also awarded.
The SOF IMO exam is held in two levels five percent of the level one shall be eligible for the level 2 exams. Further details on the exam can be obtained from the official website of SOF.
