School to reopen for students from standard 1 to 7 from Feb 14, physical classes to begin from Feb 28

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government on Thursday informed that the schools for the students of standard 1 to 7 will reopen from February 14; however, their physical classes would begin from February 28, 2022.

Bishnupada Sethi, the Principal Secretary to Government, School & Mass Education Department has written to all SPD, OSEPA in Bhubaneswar, SPD, OASV in Bhubaneswar, Director of Higher Secondary Education, Director of Secondary Education, the Director of Elementary Education, Chairman of CHSE, President of BSE, SNO of MDM and all Collectors said that schools will reopen for standard I to VII with effect from February 14, as it was announced earlier.

However, the students will have to attend the online classes till February 27 and come to the schools for their physical classes only from February 28, Bishnupada Sethi said.

On the other hand, the teachers will have to come to the school from February 14 and ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization of the campus, he added.
