The Higher Education department on Wednesday sent a directive to all vice-chancellors of universities in the state, Principals of Colleges, Director of Higher Education, Director of Technical Education, Regional Directors of Education, and Chairman of CHSE asking them to make necessary arrangements in this regard.
With this move, differently-abled students need not pay admission fees, tuition fees, certificate fees and examination fees to pursue higher or technical education in government run as well as government aided colleges and universities in the state.
The government has also directed concerned authorities to reimburse the fees paid by the differently-abled students for their education this academic session.
