NASA Shares Picture Of Big, Beautiful And Blue Galaxy Located 20,000 Light-Years Away
New Delhi: Search for celestial bodies in the Universe has always fascinated human beings. The advent of science and technology has pushed this nature of humans further. Recently NASA has shared a beautiful image of a galaxy captured by its Hubble Space Telescope.
In the image shared by the space agency, a bright yellow spot is seen in the centre. A large number of shiny dots can be seen surrounding the yellow spot. The shiny dots are stars and they can be seen emitting bright blue light.
According to NASA, the name of the galaxy is NGC 2336 and it appears to be big, beautiful, and blue. The galaxy stretches 200,000 light years across and is located approximately 100 million light-years away in the northern constellation of Camelopardalis, said NASA. The agency also revealed that NGC 2336 was discovered by German Astronomer William Tempel in 1876.
