Bhubaneswar: The famous Lingaraj temple in the capital city of Odisha received a dazzling look during the New Year eve. Lakhs of people thronged to major shrines in the capital city including the Lingaraj temple.
At the Lingaraj temple devotees made beeline to take a glimpse of the Lord and offer special prayers. The sanctum sanctorum of the temple was open for public from 3 am.
Barricades have been installed in the temple premises to ensure smooth darshan while two platoons of forces have also been deployed to maintain discipline. Here are a few pictures of Lingaraj temple during New year 2020:
