IOCL recruitment 2021: Apply for over 1900 Trade Apprentice posts; Check vacancy details

Indian Oil Corporation Limited has released a notification for recruitment for the post of Trade Apprentice in various refineries. The online application link for the vacancies are open from October 22, 2021. So, interested job applicants can apply for the vacancy by visiting the official website of IOCL– www.iocl.com.

A total number of 1968 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment. Candidates can submit their application form through online mode till November 12, 2021.

This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill various vacancies of trade apprentices and technician apprentices at its refineries at Guwahati, Barauni, Gujarat, Haldia, Mathura, PRPC, Panipat Digboi, Bongaigaon, and Paradip.

Eligibility Criteria for IOCL Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2021

Educational Qualification

• Trade Apprentice (Attendant Operator )– The candidate should have done 3 years B.Sc. (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry).
• Trade Apprentice Fitter – The candidates should have passed Matric with 2 (two) years ITI Fitter.
• Trade Apprentice (Boiler) Discipline – Mechanical – 3 years B.Sc. (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry)
• Technician Apprentice – The candidate should have done 3 years Diploma.
• Trade Apprentice Secretarial Assistant – The candidate should have done B.A./B.Sc/B.Com.
• Trade Apprentice Accountant – The candidate should have done B.Com.
• DEO – The candidates should be a 12th class passed.
• DEO (Skill Certificate Holders) – The applicants should be a Class XII pass with Skill Certificate holder in `Domestic Data Entry Operator

Age limit for IOCL Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2021

In order to apply for the post, one should be at least 18 years of age and a maximum of 24 years of age as of October 31, 2021.

However, age relaxations is available for SC, ST, PwBD, OBC (NCL) candidates as per rules.

Selection process for IOCL Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2021

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination. Candidates are advised to bring their original certificates such as Marksheet, Caste certificate, and others.

Step-1: Visit the official website of IOCL- iocl.com.

Step-2: Go to the Career Option and click on the Engagement of Apprentices under Refineries Division link and click on ‘Click here to apply online’ link.

Step-3: Select the disciple for which you would like to apply on the new window.

Step-4: After that select the respective refinery you want to work in.

Step-5: Now fill the Application Form with the necessary details as per the given instructions.

Step-6: Pay the required application fee.

Step-7: Print out a copy of the Application Form for future reference.
