HIT Celebrates ‘ANWESHA-2K19’

Bhubaneswar: The annual function of the Hi-Tech Institute of Technology (HIT), Khordha was held recently. Titled “ANWESHA-2K19” almost all students of HIT took part in the fest with enthusiasm and zeal.

Er. Mahendra Singh, former CEO of L&T Cement graced the occasion as the chief guest. Dignitaries including Er Sanjeeb Kumar Bal, MD Creative Studio, Arif Zaffer, Asst. MD Emami Cements, Er Nirmal Kumar Mohanty, Chairman Odisha Solar Energy, were the guest of honour on this occasion. Principal D Jayakrushna Moharana presided over the meeting. Director of HIT, Er Santosh Kumar Choudhury and chairman Dr. Tirupati Panigrahy were also graced the occasion.

In their speech the guests focused on importance of engineers in nation building and role of students in upliftment of economic status of the population. And the chairman enlightened students over shaping their future properly to achieve the best.

The students staged a mesmerizing play. Prizes were given away to students in fields like academics, art, culture, sports etc. A group led by 2nd-year student Veerat Shukla was awarded for making the best display item called junkyard.

Vice-Principal Prof. Kumar Surjeet Choudhury read over the annual report of the organization. The events were executed under the supervision of Prof. Shradhananda Ghadei, Prof. Sonali Priyadarshani, Prof. Sarat Das, Prof. Archana Rath, and Prof. Smruti Ranjan Pradhan. Prof Himanshu Shekhar Moharana offered the vote of thanks.
