Here’s How You Can Register For COVID-19 Vaccination For All Above 18 Years

The Government of India has announced phase 3 of the vaccination drive for all citizens aged above 18 in the country amidst the steep spike in COVID-19 cases.

The phase 3 of COVID-19 vaccination will start from May 1. Currently, only citizens above the age of 45 are eligible to receive the vaccine shot.

To take the vaccine, eligible persons first need to register for vaccination through the CoWIN website and the Aarogya Setu app.

Then you can go to hospital to receive the first vaccine shot. The government currently approved two COVID-19 vaccines for vaccination they are Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin and Oxford-AstraZeneca developed and Serum Institute of India manufactured Covishield vaccine.

The registration for the vaccinations will likely begin before May 1.

How to register for the COVID-19 vaccine online? 

Once the registration process for phase 3 begins, users can head to the CoWIN portal and Aargya Setu app to register for the vaccination.

Foolow the steps bellow to register yourself for vaccination on CoWIN website.

Step-1:- Go to the CoWIN website.

Step-2:- Click on Register/Sign in Yourself.

Step-3:-  The site will ask for your mobile number, so enter your number and click on Get OTP. Enter the OTP received on your registered phone number on the site, and click Verify.

Step-4:-After that enter all the details as per instructions, including name, date of birth, gender and photo ID proof on the covid-19 vaccine registration page and click on Register.

Step-5:- After registering successfully, you can schedule an appointment for vaccination by Clicking on the schedule next option.

Step-6:- To schedule a appointment, first check the vaccine centers available in your nearby area by entering your pin code and clicking on Search.

Step-7:- Then you can choose a center as per your convenience and schedule a appointment to take the vaccine shot.

Notebly, one person can add only four members through one login. It is easy to reschedule your appointment.

Process for registration through Aarogya Setu app 

Step-1:- Go to the Aarogya Setu app.

Step-2:- Click on CoWIN option on the home screen.

Step-3:- Select Vaccination Registration then enter your phone number.

Step-4:- Enter OTP received on your registered number and verify.

Step-5:- Then enter all the details including name, date of birth, gender and photo ID proof on the Registration of Vaccination page.

You should note that every person should take two shots of the covid vaccine. As per the CoWIN portal, you can take the second dose of Covaxin after 28 days to 42 days after receiving the first dose and the Covishield second dose should be taken between 28 days to 56 days after the first dose.
