Beware train passengers! You will be punished if talk loudly over phone, play music on trains

Time and again the Indian Railways comes up with new rules for the safe and smooth journey of the train passengers. Now it has made some rules keeping in mind the problems faced by the passengers while sleeping at night.

According to the new rules, now no train passenger will be able to talk loudly on mobile phone or listen to songs in a loud voice so that the co-passengers do not get disturbed.

All the lights except the nightlights have to be turned off and passengers traveling in groups will not be able to gossip till late at night on the train.

The checking staff, R.P.F, electrician, catering and maintenance staff will have to work in such a manner so that the passengers are not disturbed at all.

Based on a co-passenger’s complaint, strong action can be taken against those who do not follow the rules.

This apart, the Railway staff will provide immediate help to people aged above 60, physically disabled and lone women passengers.

Great initiative. Just need to know what to do when the TCs themselves do it. Like, while traveling from Mumbai to Nagpur in Vidarbha express in A1 coach, the TC just wouldn’t stop talking loudly and had the light turned on.
