Today is Valentine’s Day, the cherished day of lovers. While lovebirds are enjoying at different places across the state we asked beauty queen Kalpasa Ankita Shaw from Balasore to reveal about her valentine and what she thinks about this romantic day.
According to Kalpasa, every day is a simple day and on the other hand, every day deserves a celebration. Admitting that she is as curious as we are to know what the day would bring she said, “What you make of every moment is what it’s all about. I have never been taught how to love but I just love. I respect the term ‘love’.”
My feeling for love is pure and healthy always. The term ‘love’ should never be belittled. It always reins our heart. People say they fall in love but for me, it is not as I rise in love. So, on this romantic day, I hope you all respect love and rise in love.”
I would also like to add that the people who don’t have a valentine to spend time with, on Valentine’s Day should not be sad. Some people don’t have their father to give them company on the father’s day and some other doesn’t have her mother to show love on the mother’s day. Even some girls don’t get to see their brothers on ‘Rakhsha Bandhan’.”
Think about them and stop being sad because love is everywhere. Wear a little bit of love on your eyes on Valentine’s Day so that you can see and feel love everywhere. Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone.”
Kalpasa Ankita Shaw from Balasore was crowned Miss Balasore in 2012. Later she bagged many other titles including the Miss Odisha Perfect. and Miss Photogenic in 2013. The beauty queen is also lucky since her portrait, named ‘Dream Girl’, has got a place at an Australia Art Gallery.
