Balasore: Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. Perhaps believing on this famous quote by Nelson Mandela, the Balasore based Ankita Shaw Foundation has come up to help a few needy students to get higher education.
Run by beauty queen Kalpasa Ankita Shaw, the foundation has lately felicitated P. Omm Prakash Mahuria and Ipsita Giri of Nilagiri in the district and announced to provide financial assistance to them for any higher education they would choose to pursue.
Both the beneficiaries passed HSC examinations this year. However, since their families don’t have sufficient means to afford for their higher studies, they were not in a plan to admit them in any institution for higher studies.
