Ankita Foundation distributes blankets, foods in Balasore

Balasore: Continuing the good work Miss Balasore 2012 the very beautiful Kalpasa Ankita Shaw yet again ventured to the street to help the under privileged people. On the Makara Sankranti day recently the beauty queen went to the temple along with her mother to pay obeisance to the God and then distributed blankets and foods to the poor people sitting on the street near the Sai temple at the Railway Station area in Balasore.

 

Kalpasa is the Chief functionary of Ankita Shaw Foundation that helps the poor and needy people at times. Earlier, on behalf of the Trust, Kalpasa had extended helping hand to cyclone Fani victims. Apart from donating money for the Fani victims, she had also provided food to a cyclone affected village in Khordha.

Ankita often visits orphanages in Balasore to spend some quality time with the children and to provide them food, gifts, and stationaries.

Kalpasa rose to fame after being crowned as the Miss Balasore in 2012. Later the gorgeous girl bagged many titles including the Miss Odisha Perfect and Miss Photogenic in 2013. Probably, she is the only Odia girl whose portrait, named ‘Dream Girl’, has got a place at the Australia Art Gallery. She is the brand ambassador for Aroma Naturals beauty brand. Kalpasa has been voted as the most beautiful woman in a recent survey. On the other hand, she has also grabbed recognition thanks to her social work.
