A friend in need is a friend indeed

One fine morning I opened my eyes and saw the birds were chirping in the sunny weather. Lovely flowers were blooming. I started thinking about her. Can you guess? She was not a part of my family. Yet, she was special; I had added her to my family.  She was my best friend. She was very close to my heart. She was so dear that I could feel her presence even with closed eyes. She was always by my side.

True friends are always close to the heart. Yet, sometimes we get misguided. Some friends lead us to a wrong path in life and we get cheated. Due to misunderstanding, they break up others relationship. Even some friends take advantage of friend-ship. They take money from us to use for the wrong purpose. They don’t care about our feelings. They become selfish and just think about their profit and happiness. They send meaningless photos and videos. They waste much of our time by chatting unnecessarily on social media sites like WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter. They reveal our secrets to others. And we become the victim. We become helpless because it is too late now.

Let’s think the positive way. What is the real meaning of friendship? Friendship is the relation that never dies. Friendship is all about being honest to your friend. Friend is that person in your life who respects you, encourages you, needs you and stands always by your side. Friend is the one who neither leads you nor follows you, but walks with you. However, over the time the meaning of friendship has changed.

You might have many friends? Yet, everybody has a best friend. They are like stars. They may not be physically with you always, but they are always there. Unlike many others best friend is the person for whom your tears matters a lot. He leads you from darkness to light. And that is why it is said — A friend in need is a friend indeed. A true friend always drags us out of trouble. On the other hand a bad friend uses to leave you alone at the time of distress.

A true friend is one who may not be present in your happiness but must be present in your bad time. A true friend is one who never cheats you but inspires you to chase your dreams until you achieve them. Never choose a friend without completely understanding her. Do not love a friend who hurts you and do not hurt a friend who loves you! Sacrifice everything for a friend but do not ever sacrifice a friend for anything.

A friend is one who fills colour to your black and white life. Everyone who comes across with your life has something to contribute. Somebody will test you and some other will use you, someone will love you and some other will teach you. However, the most important among them for you is the person who brings out the best in you. They are the rare and amazing people who remind you why it’s worth it. Never take advantage of someone who likes you. Never cheat the one who has trust in you. Friendship is delicate as a glass, once broken it can be fixed but there will always be cracks. Always remember your friends. A memory lasts forever and never does it die; true friends stay together forever and never say good bye. This article is dedicated to all my friends.
