9th Class student seeks voluntary death due to family feud

Patna: Although it seems unbelievable a 9th Class student has asked for death. The teenager is a resident of Bhagalpur district in Bihar. The 15-year-old has become frustrated due to a family feud. Two months back he had sent a letter to the President in this connection.

Along with sending his wish letter to the President of India, the teenager had sent a copy of the letter to the Prime Minister’s Office and to the Chief Minister of Bihar. After getting the information PMO has asked the district administration to investigate into the matter.

Government sources said that the district administration is investigating the matter on the instructions of the Prime Minister’s Office.

As per the report, Krish Kumar Mitra, son of Manoj Kumar Mitra is a resident of Mahishamunda village under Kahalgaon police station of Bhagalpur district. Two months ago he sent a letter addressing the President and intimated about his death wish.

The teenager had mentioned in the letter that he has become sick off family feud.

Krish’s father Manoj is suffering from Cancer. He is working as a District Manager with the Rural Development Department, Deoghar. His mother Sujata is working as an Assistant Manager in the Indian Overseas Bank, Patna.

Krish lives with his father. He studies in ninth grade at Jasidih Public School. Manoj and his wife are having a longstanding dispute and accordingly, they are living separately.
