The Central government employees likely to get the good news of salary increment once again. After getting a hike in dearness allowance, HRA and TA during the as Diwali gift from the central government, they are now likely to get another bumper salary increment in the New Year.

According to the report of the Zee Business, the central government is mulling over increasing the fitment factor due to which the minimum wage or the basic salary of the central government employees would increase according to the recommendation of 7th pay commission.

The central government employees also are demanding for the increment of the fitment factor from 2.57 per cent to 3.68 per cent and now the government is likely to take a final decision in this regard before the presentation of Union Budget 2022.

If the fitment factor of the central employees is increased, then it will not only increase the central government employees’ salaries but also result in a rise in their minimum wages.

It is to be noted here that the Central employees are getting a fitment factor of 2.57 per cent due to which their basic salary is RS 18,000. However, if the government gives a green signal for the proposed 3.68 per cent fitment factor, the basic salary of the central employees will increase by Rs 8000 and reach a Rs 26,000 level.

why are you using the increase in salry ‘once again’. All news channels publishing wrong info on central govt exmployee salaries either intentionally or just to create controversy. A D A increase every six months is normal. Unlike PSUs or private sector employees other than annaul increment govt emplyee salaries are increased once in 10 years. When you guys in private media get fat salaries and other perquisites you dont advertise it. Isnt it. then why such news that gives a wrong notion to the public about govt emplohyees?
