Bhubaneswar: Kadambini media is going to celebrate the 19th anniversary of the largest circulated Odia magazine ‘The Kadambini’ and the 8th anniversary of ‘Kuni Katha’. The event will commence at 6 pm on July 2, 2019, at Rabindra Mandap in Bhubaneswar.
‘The Kadambini’ is the premier monthly family magazine of Odisha. And, ‘The Kunikatha’ is Odisha’s premier monthly family magazine for children. Educationist and Lok Sabha MP Dr. Achyuta Samanta is the founder of both the magazines. The renowned writer Dr. Iti Samanta is the editor of ‘The Kadambini’ and ‘The Kuni Katha’.
Guests
Governor of Jharkhand Her Excellency Smt Draupadi Murmu will grace the occasion as the chief guest. Renowned writer Udayan Vajpayee will be the honourable guest. Renowned writer and journalist Ashutosh Bhardwaj will be the chief speaker on this occasion. The meeting will be presided by veteran literateur d. Bibhuti Pattnaik.
Book release
The event will also witness the inauguration of the July edition of ‘Kadambini’ and ‘Kuni Katha’. Besides, the book ‘Mudrita Nayika’, written by Dr. Iti Samanta will also be released on this occasion. The book has been published by Kadambini Media.
