Bhubaneswar: After a nine-day stay at Gundicha Devi temple at Puri in Odisha, today Lord Jagannath is on His way to home. He has been accompanied by his siblings Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra. One can have darshan of the deities at the Ratnabedi in Shreemandira, the temple of Lord Jagannath in Puri on other days. However, during the eight days in between Rath Yatra and Bahuda Yatra, devotees get a glimpse of the deities at the Adapa Mandapa. And having a darshan of the lords there is considered very much virtuous and result yielding. Lakhs of devotees are witnessing the great grand event in Puri of Odisha today. Better called as Kalia Thakura in Odisha Lord Jagannath will wear the golden attire tomorrow that is known as the ‘Suna Besha’.

While pulling the chariots is the most engaging ritual for the devotees there are many other rituals. And besides the rituals, one can witness many other spectacular activities during both, Rath Yatra and Bahuda Yatra.
