Bhubaneswar: Odisha Assembly Deputy Speaker Sananda Marandi adjourned the House till 12 PM after both Congress and BJP created ruckus during the ongoing winter session over farmers’ issue on Wednesday.

Demanding a discussion on farmers’ issue, Congress and BJP legislators created turmoil in the House as soon as the business of the House began today, following which the Deputy Speaker adjourned it till 12 PM. They alleged that the state government is neither ready to accept the farmers suicide due to crops loss nor ready to have a discussion in this regard in the House.

The opposition parties had disrupted the House proceedings over the same issue yesterday leading to repeated adjournments.
