ICT coordinators’ stir continues in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The ongoing agitation of the training coordinators of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at the Lower PMG here entered on its eighth day on Saturday.

The coordinators associated with various schools of the state have been sitting on dharna to press their different demands including regularisation of jobs and salary hike.

Sources said that the teachers have been enrolled in a five-year project since last four years and are working in different government schools. Apart from teaching computer science, they have also alleged that they are made to take part in other activities of the school.

The protesters urged the state government to fulfill their demands before the termination of the project.
