Wedding of Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati to be solemnized at famous Aradi pitha on June 11

Bhadrak: The most awaited auspicious wedding of Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati has been scheduled to be held at the famous Akhandalamani pitha in Aradi of Bhadrak district in Odisha on June 11, 2024. The lagna was decided at the famous shrine recently.

Reportedly, the lagna has been fixed for the most awaited auspicious wedding of Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati. June 11, 2024 has been fixed as the wedding day as per the lagna. The divine wedding will be solemnized at the famous Akhandalamani pitha in which Lord Shiva will be the groom and Goddess Parvati will be the bride.

Recently, the ‘lagna thali’ was taken from the house of Kedarnath Padhy, who will become the father of Lord Shiva for this upcoming divine wedding, to the house of Gadadhar Padhy, who will be the father of Goddess Parvati.

The thali was taken in a procession amid sound of bell, kirtan and Jodi mahuri. At the bride’s father’s house, all the rituals of the lagna were performed as per Vedic prescription. Bramhins and astrologers sat there and worked out the wedding date for the divine marriage. Servitors were also present on this occasion.
