Wedding fever grips Odisha: High-profile politicians and actors tie the knot, WATCH
The list of actors and politicians who are getting married these days includes actor Anubhav Mohanty, Mahanga MLA Sarada Pradhan, politician Manmath Routray and last but not the least politician Pradip Majhi
Bhubaneswar: It seems wedding season is going on in Odisha these days. It has been seen recently that many high-profile people mainly actors and politicians are getting married these days.
The latest addition to this list is BJD leader and former Nabarangpur MP Pradip Majhi. He finally decided to tie the nuptial knot.
It is reported that Majhi will get married as per Hindu rituals in a hotel in Goa tomorrow on March 12 in the presence of his family and relatives. Pradeep will tie the knot in a resort in Goa. He is getting married to a highly educated young woman from Palasuni area of Bhubaneswar named Sushri Sangita Sahu. This is reported from reliable sources.
Earlier a few days ago, independent MLA from Mahanga, Sarada Prasad Pradhan, tied the knot. MLA Pradhan married Sipra Priyadarshini Bala, elder daughter of Ramesh Chandra Bala of Jaanra Barimula village under Derabish Block in Kendrapara district.
Sipra is reportedly a bank employee. Earlier, Sipra worked as a social extension officer in Mahanga and Nishchintkoili blocks. She is currently undergoing training after getting OAS. The wedding ceremony was held in Jaipur, Rajasthan on the 2nd of this month.
Similarly, this month, senior Congress leader Sura Rautaray’s younger son and BJD leader Manmath Routray also started his second innings. After the divorce of her first marriage, he chose a young woman from Patia area of Bhubaneswar as his life partner.
The wedding ceremony was held in a grand manner at Chandaka Nature Resort near Deras, a suburb of the capital. A few relatives and friends attended his wedding.
Manmath married to Rojalin Patnaik. He is a high-ranking official in a private bank in Mumbai. Chandaka Resort was booked for 2 days for the wedding ceremony. Both the bride and groom’s family and friends stayed at the resort. But during the wedding, taking photos and videos on mobile phones was prohibited inside the resort. His marriage was performed according to Vedic rituals at Chandaka Resort.
Meanwhile, what is being heard is that Ollywood actor Anubhav Mohanty is going to start his second innings. Cuttack’s ‘Balunga Toka’ will tie the knot with Jagruti Shukla in Delhi. It is being heard that the destination wedding will be held in Rajasthan. They will tie the knot in the presence of family and a few close friends. The engagement was concluded on March 8 in the presence of both families and loved ones.
