Viral Video: Meerut Woman Publicly Assaulted By Shopkeepers On Suspicion of Theft

Meerut: A video has gone viral on social media in which a woman is being assaulted by shopkeepers on suspicion of theft. Reportedly, the incident took place in Lal Kurti area of Meerut, which is the busiest marketplace in the city. In the video, the woman, alleged to be a shoplifter, can be seen surrounded by men who are pushing, abusing, shouting while the onlookers watch on instead of intervening.
