Veteran Singer Mohd Aziz passes away in Mumbai

Veteran Bollywood singer Mohammad Aziz is no more. As per reports Aziz passed away at Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital today. Aziz breathed his last Tuesday after he was admitted to Nanavati hospital.

The ‘Mard Taangewala’ track in the Amitabh  Bachchan starrer film ‘Mard’ was a super hit. Anu Malik got him to sing this song where Big B and Amrita Singh acted.

Not only in the Hindi film industry, Mohd Aziz  has lent voice to some of the most memorable Odia film songs. He has lent voice to the everlasting Odia numbers like Smruti Eka Rupa Janha, Rupa Sagadire Suna Kania, E Jivane Mo Jivane and Aji Mu Peeni and many more.

When it comes to Bollywood, Aziz’s duets with leading female singers like Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle, Anuradha Paudwal and Kavita Krishnamurthy are hugely popular. As per reports he has sung close to 20 thousand songs in more than ten different Indian languages.
