American singer Nick Jonas is also a songwriter, producer, and actor. He has more than 30 credits as an actor for appearances in various movies and television series. He released his debut album in 2004 and rose to fame as a member of the boy band the Jonas Brothers. His album ‘Nick Jonas’ entered the top ten of the Billboard 200.

Early Life, Childhood & Education

Nick was born in Dallas, Texas on September 16, 1992, to parents Paul Kevin Jonas and Denise (Miller). His father is a songwriter, musician, while his mother is a former sign language teacher and singer. He has a younger brother, Frankie, and two older brothers – Joe and Kevin.  He began performing on Broadway at the age of seven. So he became involved in the show business from his early life. He is of American nationality. Nick attended Eastern Christian High School.

Career

As per reports Nick initially wrote a Christmas song with his father that was discovered by Columbia Records. He was signed to the label as a solo artist in 2004. Eventually, it led to the formation of Jonas’ three-brother band, the Jonas Brothers. They released one album with Columbia but were then later dropped. The Jonas Brothers’ self-titled album was released in 2007. Additionally, the album reached the Top 5 on the Billboard charts and went double platinum.

Nick embarked on his first solo tour with his side project, The Administration.  He soon released three albums ‘Nicholas Jonas’, ‘Nick Jonas’ and ‘Last Year Was Complicated’.

Apart from his musical career, he is also a successful actor. He began by starring in Disney Channel’s TV movies ‘Camp Rock’ and ‘Camp Rock 2’ with Demi Lovato.

Nick later appeared on the short-lived Matthew Perry comedy ‘Mr. Sunshine’, ABC’s ‘Last Man Standing’ and the Broadway drama ‘Smash’. He has appeared in more than 3- movies and television series as of now. Additionally, he plays the character Boone on the FOX horror/comedy series ‘Scream Queens’.

The singer won the Los Premios MTV Latinoamérica award in 2009 and Young Hollywood Awards in 2010. Additionally, he also won the Broadway Beacon Awards 2012, Teen Choice Awards (2013), and Young Hollywood Awards. Furthermore, he won the Blimp Award in 2015. He has also garnered the Astra Award and MTV Video Music Awards nomination.

Rumours

There have been several rumors regarding who Nick has dated over the years. Some of the famous names include Kendall Jenner, Nicole Gale Anderson, Courtney Galiano, Kate Hudson, Lily Collins and Jordan Pruitt. However, putting all rumours to an end he married Indian actress Priyanka Chopra in 2018.
