Bhubaneswar: A bliss for all the sports lovers in the City, ‘The Dugout,’ the new sports lounge bar is the perfect place to cheer for your favourite team or player as you enjoy mouth-watering delicacies.
Inaugurated on Friday, the restaurant in Krishna Plaza Mall in Nayapalli, is the first ever sports lounge restaurant of the State.
“After successful debut in Kolkata and Jamshedpur, we decided to own a franchise of ‘Dugout’ in Bhubaneswar. The city is the new sporting destination and we feel the place has a lot of sports lovers,” says Amitav Bahinipati, co-owner of the café.
The ambience is what makes the restaurant different. The lounge has two parts – raw madness, where customers can let their hair down and enjoy and scream for a stadium-like feel. The other section is the casual floor, meant for people who want a relaxing conversation and a fine-dine experience coupled with some soothing music. The restaurant has a big screen which will play live most of the sports matches.
“People want something innovative these days. Not just food, but the ambience also has to be equally good,” he says.
The restaurant serves Mexican, Thai, Continental, Chinese and Indian delicacies and is open from 11am to 11pm. There is Hookah section also for the Hookah lovers.
