They guide their children to distinguish between what is right and wrong and advise them to do good for their better future. If they do all these for their children, whom they love the most, they have the right either to rule or interfere in the lives of their children. However, sometimes, the children take them for granted and furiously express their annoyance. Such case of a 17-year-old boy has now come to the fore, video of which has now gone viral on the social media networking sites.
In the 1.48 minute video, the Bengaluru minor boy is seen beating up his mother with a broom on Saturday. What is was surprising the most was the video was shot by his elder sister.
‘‘Do whatever you want to do, I’ll teach you a lesson,’’ says the angry minor to his mother in the video.
In the 1.48-minute video, a woman is sitting on the sofa and her son standing in front of her holding a broom in his hand. He first alleged her mother ‘badmouthing him with the neighbours’ and warns her not to do so further. Continuing the threats the teenager beats up the woman saying ‘if you will not stop discussing about me in public, I will not stop beating.’
After learning about the incident, the JP Nagar police registered a suo motu case against the boy and detained him.
According to the police, ‘the son was upset with the mother as she allegedly badmouthed him in the neighbourhood. His mother was talking with the neighbours regarding future of her son as he was not serious about his life and doing bad in his studies.’
Later, the boy confessed his mistake and apologised to his mother and gave an undertaking to the police that he would not repeat such offence in the future.
