Mumbai: The much-awaited trailer of Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra’s ‘Namaste England’ is finally out. Directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the film is a sequel to the 2007 hit film ‘Namastey London’ which featured Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in lead roles.
Arjun Kapoor plays Param, a happy-go-lucky Punjabi ‘munda’ who is quite content with his life in rural Punjab. However, Parineeti’s Jasmeet is an ambitious girl with big dreams. Both eventually fall in love, get married but after a while, Parineeti runs away to England. Not willing to let go of his love, Arjun follows her to London to woo her back. The quest of Arjun’s Param to win back his love Jasmeet is what forms the crux of the film.
Arjun also shared the trailer on his official Instagram handle. He wrote- “How far can you go for love? Presenting the #NamasteEnglandTrailer.”
Also starring Aditya Seal of ‘Tum Bin 2’ fame, Namaste England has been shot in Ludhiana, Amritsar, Dhaka, Paris, Brussels and London. The film releases on October 19.
