Mumbai: The makers of ‘Dream Girl’ starring Ayushmann Khurrana unveiled the trailer of the film on Monday. ‘Dream Girl’ is written and directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and features Nushrat Bharucha in the lead opposite Ayushmann.
The trailer starts with a Ramlila scene, where Ayushmann is seen donning saree, playing the role of Sita. In the next scene, you will see Annu Kapoor telling Ayushmann, “Tumhare Amma ne kitne vrat-upvaas karke ek beta paida kara, aur tum kabhi Sita ban jate ho, kabhi Radha.”
Glimpses of Ayushmann’s romantic relationship with Nushrat Bharucha are also shown in the trailer. Ayushmann is then seen taking up a job as a call girl and names himself Pooja. Many people fall in love with Pooja while talking to Ayushmann. From the local cop to a ‘Haryanvi’ Gujjar boy, to his girlfriend’s brother, everybody is smitten by Dream Girl Pooja. They start searching for her which is followed by a lot of confusion.

Set against the backdrop of Mathura, ‘Dream Girl’ is a comedy of errors that stars a crackling ensemble consisting Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Abhishek Bannerjee, Manjot Singh, Nidhi Bisht, Rajesh Sharma, Raj Bhansali among others.
