Bhubaneswar: DJ Marshmello’s latest release ‘Biba’ featuring Shirley Setia, Shah Rukh Khan and Pritam is one song which you cannot afford to miss. Filled with awe-inspiring moments, the song has been picturised in a never-seen-before style that is jaunty, zestful and strikes the right chord.
The song is a tribute to King Khan Shah Rukh and recreates SRK’s most memorable films. The video starts with an iconic scene from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge wherein Marshmello can be seen playing the guitar just the way Raj did amidst the fields of mustard. A Simran, with a similar custom helmet, can also be seen running towards him. However, the fields have no Mustard flowers here. Also, Simran stumbles due to the helmet and falls down only before Raj comes to her rescue.
The song then proceeds to the Devdas song ‘Dola Re Dola’ which featured Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit. Later, Rahul and Anjali from ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ appear playing basketball after which the song switches over to the song ‘Chaiyyan Chaiyyan’ song from the movie ‘Dil Se’. There is a reference to SRK’s role from Mohabbatein as well.
Besides stunning visuals, the song is a delight to the ears. It is groovy and has great beats and tempo. Produced by Dharma 2.0, Biba is still continuing to trend on social media and has crossed 11 million views on YouTube already.
‘Biba’ has been directed by Punit D. Malhotra. It also marks the first collaboration of Shirley Setia and music composer Pritam with American music producer and DJ Marshmello.
