Vicky looks terrified in Bhoot Part One Haunted Ship poster

Mumbai: Versatile Vicky Kaushal has made his entry into the horror genre with Bhoot Part One Haunted Ship and he looks anything but convincing in the first poster released on Monday.

Vicky took to Twitter to reveal the first poster of Bhanu Pratap Singh’s directorial debut Bhoot Part One Haunted Ship.

In the gripping poster, a bruised Vicky can be screaming as a hand pulls his face down.

Starring the much talented Bhumi Pednekar opposite Vicky, Bhoot Part One – The Haunted Ship is based on a true story. This will be the first part of a horror franchise.

Shashank Khaitan, who has produced the film along with Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta, told DNA “The intent is to create a series. We’re looking at making more authentic films, even horror comedies. Bhanu and I have discussed a few ideas. It’s an exciting time to take the franchise ahead.”

Producer Karan Johar released the film’s poster via social media.

Bhoot was also the title of Ajay Devgn and Urmila Matondkar’s 2003 horror film set in Mumbai, which was directed by Ram Gopal Varma. Announcing the title of the first part, Karan also expressed his gratitude towards Ram Gopal for sharing the title of his film for Dharma’s maiden horror venture.

The film is set to hit the screens on November 15.
