Mumbai: As per latest reports, the trailer of Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan’s much-awaited film ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ will be unveiled on the birth anniversary of Yash Chopra on September 27. Produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ is one of the most awaited film of this year.
A few days back it was reported that instead of launching a teaser, the makers are planning to reveal the looks of all the lead actors- Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh- starting from September 17 and leading to the final trailer launch on September 27. It is also being reported that the trailer of ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ will be attached to Anushka Sharma-Varun Dhawan’s Sui Dhaaga, which hits theatres on September 28.
Set against the backdrop of a British era, Thugs of Hindostan is about four robbers or rather thugs, who revolt against the British Raj. Most probably, the looks of the characters may also be unveiled in the said order. A final poster too will be launched which will feature all the four actors.
A few days back, Katrina Kaif had shared a behind-the-scene picture of Aamir Khan from the sets of the film. Seen in his ‘Thug’ look, Aamir was seen chilling with a smoke pipe in his hand. Katrina captioned it with a hashtag #ThugLife @_aamirkhan.
The film is also in news for a sizzling dance number titled ‘Suraiyya Meri Jaan’ which features Katrina Kaif in a glamorous avatar. Besides, Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen dancing to a song choreographed by Prabhu Deva.
Also starring Ronit Roy, Thugs of Hindostan has been shot at multiple locations in Thailand, Jodhpur and Malta. It is slated for a Diwali release on November 7 this year.
