‘The Zoya Factor’ Song: Shah Rukh Khan Introduces Sonam Kapoor As India’s ‘Lucky Charm’

Bhubaneswar: The first song of Sonam Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘The Zoya Factor’ has been released. Titled ‘Lucky Charm’, the song captures the journey of Sonam’s Zoya who transforms into India’s lucky charm.

The track starts with Shah Rukh Khan’s voice who explains how Zoya’s father gave her the credit of India’s victory in the 1983 Cricket World Cup, as she was born at that very moment when Kapil Dev lifted the trophy.

‘Lucky Charm’ is sung by Raghuvir Yadav and Shankar Mahadevan. The music of the film is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.

Sonam also shared the song on Instagram and Twitter with a caption that read, “Want to know who my lucky charm is, the one and only @IamSRK!! Based on Anuja Chauhan’s novel of the same name, ‘The Zoya Factor’ revolves around Zoya Singh Solanki, an advertising executive who meets the Indian Cricket Team through her job and ends up becoming a lucky charm for the team at the Cricket World Cup.

South heartthrob Dulquer Salman is playing the captain of the Indian Cricket team in the movie.

The film also stars Angad Bedi and Sikandar Kher in key roles. It also marks the first-ever collaboration of Sonam with her uncle Sanjay Kapoor, who is playing her father in the film.

‘The Zoya Factor’ is slated to release on September 20, 2019.
