‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ is temporarily going off air, and the reason is the host, Kapil Sharma, himself. Recently, the show made headlines for The Kashmir Files controversy, for which Kapil also received a lot of backlash. For those unversed, Director Vivek Agnihotri wrote in his tweet that the team of The Kashmir Files was not invited on The Kapil Sharma Show because it did not have any big commercial star. Following the tweet netizens slammed the comedian. However, later on in one of the interviews conducted by a leading media channel Anupam Kher, who is one of the lead actors of the movie, cleared up the air.
Now the show has once again made to the headlines for the news of it’s shutting off. Makers have decided to pull the plug on the comedy show for about a month.
According to the sources, the reason for the sudden break is the comedian’s upcoming US trip. Apparently, Kapil has a month long US trip planned in the mid-June, due to which he will be unable to shoot for the show. Therefore, the entire team has decided to take a break at the same time.
Reportedly, a few episodes will be pre-shot to continue entertaining fans before they go on a break.
It was recently that Kapil too announced the same through his social media.

This is not the first time Kapil has taken a break from the show. Earlier, he took a few days off to welcome his second child into this world. When a fan asked him about the reason behind the show going off air,the comedian tweeted, “Because I need to be there at home with my wife to welcome our second baby.”
